The Hilton Head Island Boat Show at Windmill Harbour will
return in 2014 after a big success in 2013. The principal sponsors of the Boat
Show are the Windmill Harbour Property Owner’s Association, the Marina Owner’s
Association, and the South Carolina Yacht Club. In 2013 there were over 2,500
local and out of state attendees, 45 sail and motor boat vendors, and over 15
boating related vendors selling boats, boating accessories, and fishing
equipment. The tour of boats will include 50 or more “in water” boats and 10 or
more “out of water” boats. The event showcases the “Charleston Style” community, the South Carolina Yacht Club
and Windmill Harbour’s beautiful boater friendly locked harbour and marina.
Real estate open houses and information regarding marina
docks and home sites will be available. Art displays and tour of the South
Carolina Yacht Club clubhouse and sports facilities will be featured. There will be a demonstration of Windmill Harbour’s
Fast Attack fire fighting vehicle, a sailing demonstration by a fleet of
Harbor 20 sailboats, and much more. Food and beverage stations will also be available.
